Are you a good listener?

Are you listening?

Are you listening?

Dear Reader.

Yesterday evening the skies turned grey and the rain came knocking down…so it is time for indoors activities. There are probably a lot of things you have to do, but what do you want to do? If you have holiday, what do you really want to do?

Sit in a car with all the kids on the way to a family gathering, or on an airport to a super beach destination with umbrella drinks and exfoliation sand to the skin? Or a Paris trip? Or take a short trip to the nearest beach and swim in Wonderland? And eat the local food. Or just walk around in the rain in your city and see places you have driven past, but never visited? Or just sit in a chair and read a good book, with some wine in a glass, while the kids are drawing, or watching a movie or reading a book, or hanging out with friends? Or bake something you have wanted to do for a long time, but never gotten that far? Or paint? Or learn a new language? Or run to all the mountain tops in Wonderland, with good rain clothes? Or listen to good music or a radio program?

We are so busy in the daily life, that maybe we totally have forgotten to listen. To our bodies. We get burned out and feeling on more and more inadequacy in our daily life. We are supposed to be so happy and look good and do all this things that makes us successful. It is making the body ache and the soul cry, but do we listen?

I am not sure we remember how? Do you Dear, Reader? Do you lay down after a long day and get overwhelmed by your body? Either that it is totally exhausted, and cries for rest and comfort. Is it too tired to enjoy sex if you have someone to have it with? Sex is good for the body. Or is it that you can’t sleep because it aches somewhere and you have so much to worry about? We use more and more sleeping medicine in our bodies. We are so wired that it can’t slow down.

So the question is, why are we not listening to our bodies and let it rest…?

Dear Reader, have a stress free lunch.

ABitch
