Hello, Dear Reader.

Monday, and for half of Norway, Fall Holiday. It is beautiful weather outside, it has cleared out after the storm “Roar”, which was very describing. Lots of wind, rain, floods and closed roads.

This weekend someone dared to start the discussion that we have reached the point where, in politics, public discussions and other fora, we have ended up being color blind. It was not described that way, but this black and white phenomenon is the result of the screaming from the extremists left, middle and right, the uneducated, and the mob.

We have, now, in every discussion two opinions, either a for or against. Black or white. All the colors and the nuanced discussions and meanings have just dropped out of the picture. What “we”, meaning the public, hear is that she/he said this or that, we almost NEVER hear why or how or that it was just part of the discussion.

To demonstrate: bla, bla, bla, bla, religion, bla, bla, bla, racist, bla, bla, bla, fat, bla, bla, bla, exercise, bla, bla, bla, bla, bla, rich…

We have, in our wanting to sort all the information that pushes thought our personal sphere, made everything simple. We don’t want things that are complicated and difficult to put in a box. We want our information easy digestible with no burbs and farts.

It is like the disgusting highly processed foods we use for dinner when we have no time to make it from the ground up, we think it is easy but the consequences from sugar, fats and nothing for the stomach to work on, is not good.

We are just so exhausted of all the screaming, and choose the simple, and many time wrong solutions.

And if this works for you, okay, go on, I have had enough. I want the colors back, I want to know when I open my mouth, I want to be sure that what I say is going to be colored. I want to be sure that you hear me out, and actually get to think on your own.
